This movie, made his name much more bigger than before. This movie had shown the problem and the struggle of a educated youth , who was struggling for a job.Who come to Mumbai (Mahanagar.Metropolitican city , Dream city of India). in search for a job with his B.A degree and with a medal of honesty. Where he met a beggar, Who tell every thing about the city Mumbai in a single line

Mumbai is known as dream city of India , we have our Bollywood there. Every year lots of youth come to this city in search of job or to get into Bollywood. Its said about Mumbai that its not easy to live , need to struggle a lot. The city never sleeps 24* 7 working.
The glamour of the city attract every Indian youth towards its. Where money flows in the air on the second hand we have the largest slum in Mumbai also.
This movie deals with the struggle of educated man, problems of labour class people, corruption . In Shree 420, its had shown how a upper class enjoy the labour of small man.
With labour and honesty , they can't even able to get 3 time meal and the cheaters living lavish life .Beauty of the film was that in this movie pain and tears of the poor are not shown. In opposite it was shown that how happily with a ray of hope in their eyes are living there life. And there big heart.
I think everyone who had watched this movie remembers Lady Kale Wali(women who sales banana on street) . She provided Raj (RAj Kapoor) banana without taking any money. Because at that time he don't have the money and need to eat something, so she provided him the bananas.Look at the picture above in this pic from the face you can't say the man is hungry. That's the quality of the film. No cheep emotions to get the audience .
One more thing about the Lady Kale wali she earns money by bananas only but she had given two bananas for free thats the big heart you can in this movie.
After doing a day hard work how the labors live there night life on street it was shown in the movie and the happiness by singing the song.
