Indian Cinema : The Classic.

                                   Creative Genius  Of Indian Cinema

In grammar, past is a tense .For historians .Its their life work. For some people its its a        glorious thing.
Some people write their history by their work by the perspective of their view how they see the world and how they portrait the things . In my view its really genius  work to put their view in front of people in the form of art . while writing this blog today a name coming in my mind  GURU DUTT.
Talking about Indian cinema without GURU DUTT will be incomplete
10th oct 1964. when Indian film industry had lost the creative genius,
Guru Dutt saheb was found dead in his room. due to over dose of sleeping pills.
"Yeh Duniya Mujhy Mil Bhi Jay To Kya H" these lines from his famous film pyaasa.
Pyaasa was directed by Guru Dutt in the year in 1957. Don't go with the year this movie had shown the cruel reality of the society which even true today also. The character (vijay) played by himself was a jobless writer, who contempt ed by the publishers and when he saw his poetry at wastepaper dealer he feels the  opprobrium  of the society. Each song of the movie will even today take you to the ground reality of your soil.
If  I talk about the song "yeh duniya agar mil bhi jay to kya h " in this song one can feel the pain of person who is out thrown from this metastatic  world  the line "yeh matav farsto ki duniya " say that this selfish world where people don't care even about the pain of there own. For tears and emotions there is no place for them, when the character lost his love only because he was unemployed and married to a rich man role played by (Rahman) then his heart fills with emotions but what worth to the worthless world is only money. It was shown in the film . The film goes with a middle class family and their family problem also where the brother of vijay also disregard his because of his jobless point.
After seeing this image and the song "Jane wo kaise log thee" one can say the film has Christianity image and reference  when he had given crown of thorn.
Moreover I like the opening sceen of the film " A bee was shown who was thirsty of nectar was mashed under the foot by a man. Here the bee represents the lover .
And it will be incomplete without taking about the song "jinhey naaz h hind pe"
The song filmed in the red-light area where there is background sound of tabla and cuffing sound of girls both comes out together .In the song he asked from those who proud of  India where they are come and look the situation here where a small girl is being sold out for money, he asked question from those proud of India by mentioning about the health condition of those small girls who faced tell the story of their health. And last he just comment on the old aged people who used to come hiding there face to these road. And in the end of the song he just speak their words "Madad Chahti hai yeh hawa ki beti ......"
That was the era where movie was made in India to show the mirror of the society and ask for the changes to be made on. Guru Dutt had directed a lot of movies like Pyaasa, Sahib, Bibi or Gulam,
Kaagaz ke phool, Chaudvin ka chand and many others.
